Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic DIANA
The Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic program DIANA aims to accelerate the development and maturation of technologies with high strategic potential by drawing on a network of recognized innovation and testing centers. As such, the Centre Technologique en Aerospatiale (CTA) plays a key role as a strategic testing center, offering direct access to advanced expertise and cutting-edge infrastructure to selected companies. The CTA's Composites and Advanced Materials team has distinguished itself in several previous projects involving the design and manufacturing of advanced composite structures, processing as well as characterization of high-temperature materials for aeronautical and space applications, demonstrating its ability to effectively support the technological maturation of critical components. For more information: DIANA (NATO).

Thanks to its expertise in composite manufacturing process development and material characterization, and its membership in the DIANA program's network of strategic testing centers, CTA specialists were able to support our team in maturing the manufacturing of certain components of our hybrid rocket engine. In this case, with DIANA funding made available to its deserving innovation centers, the CTA helped us refine our procedures for implementing the ablative and composite materials used respectively for the combustion chamber liner and the outer shell of our rocket engine.
