The CTA is fostering the next generation of aerospace professionals
The Aerospace Technology Center (CTA) is launching “Zoom on Innovation in Aeronautics and Space Technologies,” a program designed for students at the National School of Aeronautical Engineering (ÉNA) to introduce them to applied research, technological innovation, and careers in aerospace.
Funded by the Government of Quebec through the NovaScience program, this project aims to foster a culture of science, develop innovation skills, and encourage the next generation to pursue careers in science and technology.
An immersive journey into the world of aviation
"Focus on Innovation in Aeronautics and Space Technology" offers students an immersive program that introduces them to careers and disciplines related to aeronautics through:
- training modules and sessions
- hands-on, participatory, and immersive workshops, held directly in the CTA's laboratories
- industrial tours of companies in the aerospace sector, research centers, and universities
- Thematic conferences and networking sessions
The program provides access to several of CTA's areas of expertise:
- composites and advanced materials
- non-destructive testing
- robotics and automation
- metal fabrication and metrology
- artificial intelligence
- Development and Integration of Aerospace Systems
This program offers a genuine window into the world of research and related careers, allowing students to become familiar with the latest advancements and current challenges in the aerospace industry. It is a unique opportunity for students to gain an introduction to, experience, and insight into the aerospace field, going beyond theoretical coursework.
