At a time when the global economy was recovering from the pandemic, Mr. Faucher made the most of the situation and made a decisive contribution to the CTA.
A beneficial contribution
Anne-Marie Bertrand has over 25 years' experience in the aerospace industry, of which she has acquired a thorough understanding. Her career path demonstrates solid expertise in program management, operational leadership and strategic planning, which will be a valuable asset for the Aerospace Technology Centre.

I'm proud and enthusiastic about contributing to this mission and its positive impact on businesses of all sizes," says Anne-Marie Bertrand, Chair of the CTA Board of Directors.
A crucial role for industry
The aerospace sector is facing global challenges, including decarbonization, labor shortages, aircraft autonomy and safety, and maintaining a high level of quality. To better meet these challenges, the industry is counting on innovation and collaboration between the various players in the industrial, academic and research fields. The creation in 2024 of Espace Aéro, the aerospace innovation zone, is a good example of this.
"Thanks to its highly qualified, agile research teams, the Aerospace Technology Center is recognized as a leader in its sectors, playing a crucial role in the innovation capacity, sustainable development, prosperity and longevity of the Canadian aerospace industry," continues Anne-Marie Bertrand.
An impressive track record
Anne-Marie Bertrand's career path has prepared her well to chair the CTA Board of Directors. After 12 years at Bombardier Aerospace, where she rose through the ranks to become Supply Chain Director, she held a management position at Mecaer America. In 2013, she continued her successful career at Héroux-Devtek, where she made her mark as Program Director, then General Manager of the Laval and Longueuil sites. In 2020, she was appointed to her current position, leading the Eastern Region, which includes over 450 employees. Ms. Bertrand holds a bachelor's degree in Operations Management and an MBA.
