<\/p>\nC\u00e9gep \u00c9douard-Montpetit, \u00c9cole nationale d'a\u00e9rotechnique (\u00c9NA) and the Centre technologique en a\u00e9rospatiale (CTA) are delighted to announce the creation of an aerospace innovation zone in the Greater Montreal area, Espace A\u00e9ro, with a specific hub in Longueuil. This promising project was announced today May, 21 2024 by the Quebec government, as part of the International Aerospace Innovation Forum, organized by A\u00e9ro Montr\u00e9al, which will be responsible for implementation and governance.<\/p>\n
This new innovation zone represents a decisive announcement for the City of Longueuil and its partners, who are positioning themselves as key players in the technological progress of Quebec's aerospace industry and the region's economic development.<\/p>\n
\"I would like to express our deep gratitude to Premier Fran\u00e7ois Legault and Minister Pierre Fitzgibbon for their leadership and commitment to transforming Greater Montreal and, by extension, Quebec. This designation, particularly for the Longueuil cluster, confirms the position of C\u00e9gep \u00c9douard-Montpetit, \u00c9NA and CTA as leading partners in making Longueuil a prime location for aerospace training, research and innovation. The aim was to bring together different socio-economic players to stimulate growth, success and prosperity in Quebec.<\/p>\n \"The creation of this new innovation zone, and more specifically the Longueuil cluster, is a mark of the government's confidence in our national school, the quality of the college training programs we offer, and the expertise and skills of our staff.
