{"id":694,"date":"2025-06-04T14:15:22","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T18:15:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cta.enconstruction.website\/?p=694"},"modified":"2025-10-29T11:59:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T15:59:11","slug":"innovation-et-developpement-de-la-main-doeuvre-cinq-institutions-collegiales-sallient-pour-mieux-repondre-aux-besoins-de-lindustrie-aerospatiale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aerocta.ca\/en\/innovation-et-developpement-de-la-main-doeuvre-cinq-institutions-collegiales-sallient-pour-mieux-repondre-aux-besoins-de-lindustrie-aerospatiale\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovation et d\u00e9veloppement de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre: cinq institutions coll\u00e9giales s\u2019allient pour mieux r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de l\u2019industrie a\u00e9rospatiale"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Two CEGEPs and three college technology transfer centers (CCTTs) announced today, at the YMX Innovation Center in Mirabel, the signing of an agreement that will enable them to offer the aerospace and manufacturing industries a strengthened and coherent range of services to meet their needs in terms of applied research and innovation, as well as workforce skills development.<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cstj.qc.ca\/\">C\u00e9gep de Saint-J\u00e9r\u00f4me<\/a>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cegepmontpetit.ca\/\">C\u00e9gep \u00c9douard-Montpetit<\/a> and its <a href=\"https:\/\/fc.cegepmontpetit.ca\/ena\/\">\u00c9cole nationale d'a\u00e9rotechnique<\/a> (\u00c9NA), the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdcq.qc.ca\/\">Quebec Composites Development Center<\/a> (CDCQ), the Centre technologique en a\u00e9rospatiale (CTA), and the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ivisolutions.ca\/\">Innovative Vehicle Institute<\/a> (IVI) join forces to support the industry more effectively.<\/p>\n<p>In signing this agreement, the five higher education institutions have established a solid, structured foundation that will facilitate the development of synergies based on the complementarity of their cutting-edge expertise. What's more, to encourage the realization of joint projects and better meet the needs of industry, they could, for example, pool certain spaces and equipment or set up common tools. This partnership makes it possible to optimize investments in a more difficult economic climate. Encouraging innovation The three college technology transfer centers have joined forces to offer a wider range of innovation and applied research services. By working with one of these centers, a company will at the same time have access to the high-level expertise and resources of the others. In this way, the CCTTs will combine their strengths to develop optimal solutions for their customers, more quickly, more efficiently and more closely aligned with real-world business needs.<\/p>\n<h3>Fostering innovation<\/h3>\n<p>The three college technology transfer centers have joined forces to offer a wider range of innovation and applied research services. By working with one of these centers, a company will at the same time have access to the high-level expertise and resources of the others. In this way, the CCTTs will combine their strengths to develop optimal solutions for their customers, more quickly, more efficiently and more closely aligned with concrete business needs.<\/p>\n<p>\"Together, our three CCTTs combine powerful expertise in areas such as composite materials, industrial processes and automation, digital transformation including artificial intelligence, transport electrification, advanced mobility and much more. These crucial sectors will determine the future of our aerospace industry, which must innovate to remain competitive on an international scale. Our two CEGEPs intend to be their privileged partners in achieving this,\" emphasized H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Bailleu, Director General of C\u00e9gep \u00c9douard-Montpetit and \u00c9cole nationale d'a\u00e9rotechnique (\u00c9NA).<\/p>\n<h3>Developing workforce skills<\/h3>\n<p>The agreement also provides for C\u00e9gep de Saint-J\u00e9r\u00f4me and C\u00e9gep \u00c9douard-Montpetit business services to combine their complementary expertise in order to offer businesses a broader, integrated and effective range of customized services for developing their employees' skills. Companies will benefit from improved continuity of service and training.<\/p>\n<p>\"Thanks to this agreement, companies in the aerospace innovation zone, including those in the Mirabel cluster, will have easy access to a wide range of customized services to develop the skills of their personnel.
